how to get to the school

Via Private Transportation

(From La Paz Plaza)

 

1.       From La Paz Plaza, Huervana Street, go straight until you reach the intersection of La Granja, Caingin, and Baldoza Streets.

2.       Take a right turn going to Baldoza.

3.       Follow the road until you reach the Baldoza Land Transport Terminal intersection.

4.       Take a left turn going to Coastal Road-Jaro.

5.       After you pass by the Ticud Bridge, and just before the Mere Monique place of St. Paul’s, you will see the school signage on your right, take a right turn and follow the road.

6.       You will pass by a private residential house and then you will see the school on your right.

 

(From Coastal Road-Jaro)

 

1.       Take the Coastal Road going to La Paz.

2.       Follow the road until you reach some 100 meters before the Ticud Bridge.

3.       Look to your left, take a left turn where you will see the school signage.

4.       You will pass by a private residential house and then you will see the school on your right.

 

Via Public Transportation

 

1.       Take the La Paz Ticud Terminal jeepney going to La Paz. (Regular fare: Php 8.00)

2.       Go down at the terminal.

3.       Options: (a) you can take a short walk going to the school, or, (b) take a tricycle or pedicab (ride going to the school (fare: Php 7.00).

4.       If you take the cab, inform the driver that you are going towards the Iloilo Gun Club in Ticud.

5.       After you pass by the Ticud Bridge, and just before the Mere Monique place of St. Paul’s, you will see the school signage on your right, take a right turn and follow the road.

6.       You will pass by a private residential house and then you will see the school on your right.

 

NOTE: Construction is underway along the Coastal Road connecting to La Granja/Caingin. Soon, the La Paz jeepney’s route will pass by the Ticud Bridge.


 

the school is almost ready!

motherhood beckoned and everything had to take a backseat including the school.

but baby trey is now 6 months old and it’s full throttle once again as we prepare for Maya Playgarden & Daycare Center’s birth!

posting some recent photos re: construction progress. also busy gathering materials for the children’s toys and other school materials. 

excited to work on projects with the teachers! i recently purchased books on how to make sock dolls, how to repurpose old materials, how to do stamp crafts, and other quick crafts! 

we’re also going to have a series of parent orientations to help parents assess if Maya Playgarden is the right school for their children. i sure hope we are!
